Learn how to create the planet Earth in the eevee engine in this tutorial for blender 2.8.

In this part of how to make a planet in 3D, we shall create the basic earth shader as well as some ‘fake’ volumetric clouds.

In part 2 we shall create a dynamic day and night cycle.

In part 3 we will look at creating the atmosphere.

And part 4 will be adding some subtle animations to take our scene from a C+ to an A!
