Assembly Animation – Blender Tutorial

Here are tips on the workflow I use to make assemblies in Blender and animate their assembly/disassembly. I was asked how I align objects and their axes a “perfect” way, this will answer that.

Subject matter:
★ Snap Tool. 00:42 Also Snap Menu when Snap Tool doesn’t work
★ Align Bolts/Screws with holes. 10:46 (detailed) or 13:15 (08:33 download a STL file & import into Blender)
★ Assembly Animation. 16:48 – key frames, dope sheet, f-curve, Copy Rotation & Copy Location Object Constraints
