4 Awesome Water Displacement Shaders || Blender Tutorial

By TooEazyCG

In this video, you’ll learn four different water displacement shaders and how to set it up in the node editor, without having to use any modifiers as a displacement for the water! A simple and great way to create ripples and very small waves in your water without it actually creating more polygons!

My tutorial on an accurate pool water material shader: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJD-qL77Cug

We’ll be experimenting with texture nodes, and how it can create such gorgeous and realistic displacement effects in the node editor.

We’ll start off with the displacement that I used in my accurate pool water shader tutorial, then we’ll experiment with other nodes and how it can make the water look even better, and finally, we’ll mix different texture nodes together, to create a less complex, but more realistic result!

I guess you could say, that this is the continuation of my previous water tutorial ha ha!
