3DTutorials: Please, tell us a bit about yourself like: what are you, what are you engaged in?
Adam Isailovic: I am Adam Isailovic, concept artist and illustrator from Belgrade, Serbia, and currently I am working on leveling up my skills, not into industry just yet, but hope soon i will be able to get in and working hard towards it. Also, i am working on my personal project for last 15 years, called Project: Antharra, book and board game.
3DTutorials: How many years of experience do you have in the field?
Adam Isailovic: I am drawing my whole life, but took the definite route toward illustrations and concept art 5 years ago. Since then, I have worked for very small projects, some not even announced yet, mostly TCG projects, and some concepts for casino slot games. I also have 3 years of experience as level and game designer for a small local game development company for 2 PC games.
3DTutorials: What software did you use to make this art?
Adam Isailovic: I have used photoshop for that image, that was a test for Games Workshop freelance illustrator job position that i didn't pass, but still very proud of it! :)
3DTutorials: What references do you generally use when start making this exact works of yours?
Adam Isailovic: I had figurines that Games Workshop guys provided, and i am a big fan of Warhammer 40K universe so some of things were already in my visual library, so i didn't use much of references. I have checked some of their art just for inspiration and get on it.
3DTutorials: How do you start concept art and how many 3D elements use in it?
Adam Isailovic: It depends, i have several ways to start concept, or illustration. Mostly i start with sketch, but sometimes i just bash colors and values and enjoy making out of it the shapes and composition that i like. I don't use 3D elements at all, but i am using Ambient Occlusion 2D technique on some of my illustrations, like this one:

3DTutorials: How much are you experienced in working with 3D?
Adam Isailovic: I have basic experience with 3ds Max, mostly environments and rough object, but i am planning to dive into ZBrush/3dCoat sculpting in the near future, i am basically now focused on practicing for concept art.
3DTutorials: Are you a freelancer or working for a certain employer?
Adam Isailovic: Currently i am working two jobs and freelance as much as i can, none of those are currently in the game industry, but, hopefully that will change :)
3DTutorials: And the last question what new work we should be expecting from you soon?
Adam Isailovic: I am working on sci-fi girl pilot illustration currently, and i will continue to work on fantasy and sci fi genre in the future, which will certainly include girls, mechs and creatures, as those are my favorites to draw.
